Family of 4?!

Lets start off by stating that when I decided to start this blog it was a chance for me to have a little journal for myself(and family) and read some more blogs about motherhood, weddings/relationships, buying a house, and all that comes along with being a young women who is creating a life of her own. Im not big on being a follower when it comes to most things in life but when it comes to creating a life, raising a child, and what is the best possible way to make sure your child leads a healthy happy lifestyle, I'm all for getting some advice! So thats what lead me to the blogworld. I update my facebook pretty regularly with little details as to whats going on with Branson, but for the most part it gets pretty old looking at everyone my age status, updates, and pictures of the nonstop partying and living the college lifestyle. Im happy for them that all they have to worry is where the next party is at and what are they going to wear! I would not wish any of them to grow up right now, they need this time in their life to be a little wild so that hopefully one day when they do get married and have children they are more than ready to be the best they can be! But for ME, I did my "wild" and "learning from my mistakes" at a younger age. I did that my junior and senior year of high school, even the year after when I met Keagan and we acted young and silly together. We werent ready to have a kid then, but we are more than happy that it happened or we wouldnt be where we are today!

Summer 08' Las Vegas with girlfriends

Ok so if your still paying attention to where this is going hahah sorry for going on and on but I am totally ready to start the next chapters in our lives! Marriage, more kids (only one more actually), buying a house, etc. Keagan and I have both been having the "whens the right time for the next" talk lately. (Baby talk that is) We live at my dads for now and have been saving for a house since Keagan moved in back in April, after college. My dad works 16 to 18 hour days (yes he is crazy and competely in love with his job!) so its really like we have our own home! Everything has worked out great so far but now that Keagan has started his career, we are just waiting for him to have some nice big ol paychecks and off to get a loan we go! I can not even begin to explain how excited I am!! Ahhhhh oh and our first house together will be my 20th home!! Crazzzy!! My pinterest account is pretty intense with diy stuff I cant wait to get started on once we get the keys to our new home!! Yes I will start RIGHT away :)

Summer 10' North Carolina, from Vegas to Mama and lovin every second!

On to the "baby talk" I have always thought about having my kids 2 or 3 years apart. Since my sister and I are 5 years apart and really never even speak to eachother, I thought being closer in age would have totally changed that. Well at least for US! I know families thats have kids ranging from 2-22 and are super close, but in my experiance I've just aways wanted them closer together. With all that being said my BABY will be 2 in April!! OMG I really cant believe I just typed that! So I am totally having that baby fever! I think Keagan might be too! He wont say it but EVERYTIME we see a baby out somewhere he is so into watching it and he says "Babe, look a little baby". Thank goodness I have two cousins that are having babies and I am super close to my cousins! You better believe I will be visiting alot and getting rid of that baby fever I've been having! (Or maybe it will be opposite and we will try even harder to have another) Ooooo boy!! Again no we aren't married yet, but dont worry its not to far from our minds we just really want the wedding experiance to be wonderful to us, not running off to the courthouse so that it will make everyone else happy that we are living together, have a child, and are totally not doing it all "the right way"! No way! We will do things on our own time and meanwhile we will contiune to be sooooo happy and in love with eachother and our little one!!!

  1. Your baby is adorable!!! I am having baby fever too and my baby is only 9 months. I think it's because it took me SO long to have him.

You guys are a cute little family. Good luck with purchasing your first home and can't wait to see all your DIY projects (don't you love pinterest??!!)
