Together We Have It All: Giving Thanks

There are really so many things that I have to be thankful for and I have to say that I do pray EVERY single night, thanking God for ALL he has blessed me with! There are some flaws of course, but who doesn't have them? I sometimes take a second to step back and look at how truly blessed I am to have my health, 3 warm meals everyday (at least lol), roof over my head, etc. I could go on and on but I want to take a minute to say how thankful I am for my family.

Often I find myself complaining about having divorced parents who are either remarried or dating someone, being in a relaionship with someone who has divorced parents himself, and that I have to make sure my children spend time with each and everyone of our family members, which is near impossible.

Then this time of year comes around. Yes, its wonderful giving people gifts and super exciting having an excuse to pig out on some delish grub but most of all it is a reminder to me that no matter the issues we have, big or small with our families, at least we have eachother.

And for that reason, I can truly say this time of the year is my favorite! No anger, dissapointment. No aruments or fueds. Just love, passion, and thankfulness (if thats a word) for one another.

I have a LARGE family. I have a AWESOME family. I have a place where I belong in this big ol world and for that I am forever Thankful!
